How to Use Yurusen — Filing into the Ledger and Passing Judgment
A beginner's guide to Yurusen, the ledger-of-judgment app. From filing someone you can't forgive, to the five levels of judgment, the daily free points, and the Wraith Codex — explained simply.
By Katsuki Mitsumori
Yurusen is an app for quietly filing the people you couldn't forgive into a ledger of judgment only you can read. Here's a gentle walkthrough of the basics for first-time users.
1. "File" into the ledger
It all begins by filing the person you can't forgive onto a page of the ledger. You enter items like these:
- Alias: keep real names hidden — something like "Ex-boss A" or "Mr. K."
- Relationship (optional): work, ex-partner, neighbor, and so on.
- The offense: write what was done to you, just as you feel it.
- How unforgivable: choose one of three levels — "Still forgivable (vermilion)," "Unforgivable (ink)," or "Never forgiven (dark)."
What you write is a completely private record only you can read. There's no need to make it tidy. The words as you feel them are fine.
2. Pass a "judgment"
You can pass one of five judgments on the person you've filed, growing heavier from light to severe:
- Admonition: a quiet stroke onto the page.
- Branding: a searing iron pressed to the name.
- Bed of Needles: wardens drag the shade to the needles.
- Hellfire Verdict: crimson karmic flames spiral up.
- Avīci Abyss: Enma sets down the brush. Forever.
Judgment is an in-app effect only. Nothing happens to a real person. Writing, judging, and drawing a line — that sequence of actions itself helps you sort out your feelings.
3. How points work
Passing a judgment costs "points." You receive a set amount for free every day, so you can use the app daily without paying.
Heavier judgments cost more points (Admonition is light; the Avīci Abyss is the heaviest). If you run short on a day you want to judge a lot, you can top up — but start by trying it freely within the daily allowance. Continued logins bring bonuses and other touches that make it easy to keep going.
4. Collect the Wraith Codex
As you pass more judgments, wraiths in the "Wraith Codex" accumulate. This is a codex that casts the "types" of unforgivable people as wraiths, demons, and hell-wardens fallen into hell — 100 in all. You can enjoy discovering which type the person who hurt you turned out to be.
For more on the world behind the codex, see also What Is the Wraith Codex.
Using it with peace of mind
Yurusen is an app for private emotional care and entertainment. Please do not use it to threaten, expose, or harass real people. All records are private, and we recommend keeping real names hidden. Use it with confidence, as a place to let out what's inside you where no one else can see.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Q.Can other people see what I write?
No. What you file into the ledger is a completely private record only you can read. By default it is never shared with anyone. We recommend keeping real names hidden and using an alias.
Q.Do I have to pay to use points?
No. You receive a set amount of points for free every day. On days when you want to pass many judgments you can top up if you run short, but the free allowance alone is plenty for regular use.
Q.Does passing a 'judgment' actually do anything to a real person?
Nothing happens. Judgment is an in-app effect only — a private catharsis to help you sort out your feelings. It is not meant to threaten or harm any real person.
