But the prince who came for the waking kiss gave out in the wall of thorns, and since then no one can reach the castle. After a century of hitting snooze, her eyelids are stitched shut with black briars, and roses bloom from her body—each bloom dripping a single drop of blood. In her dreams she apparently wakes up every night and lives an active, busy life; in her own words, 'reality is less busy than my dreams.' She's the senior mentor of the Second-Nap Granny Five-More-Minutes, and when the two stand side by side, everyone within ten meters is hit by a ferocious wave of sleepiness.
