Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 3, 2026
Information We Collect
- Authentication information from an email verification code, Google account, or Apple account (email address, display name, profile image when provided)
- The diary content you write (curse words and an optional target name)
- History of credit grants, spending, and purchases
- Usage and device information for improving the service
Privacy of Your Diary
Diary entries are stored as private data and are never shared with or disclosed to other users. Row-level security (RLS) in the database ensures that no other user can access them.
Access by the operator
The operator may review stored diary content to improve the service and investigate defects. Diary text is not made public to other users. When an AI-generated verse or curse-card image is requested, part of the diary text is sent to OpenAI APIs as described below. We do not provide diary content to third parties for advertising. Content may also be reviewed when required by law or urgently necessary to protect life or physical safety. Operator access applies to entries written on or after the revision of August 12, 2026. Earlier entries remain subject to the premise in effect when they were written that the operator does not read them.
Card images and share links
You choose whether to share a Curse Card image. If you create a share link for a verse or an AI card, anyone with the link can view the work. A public page may show the card image, type of curse, resentment level, and a caption you entered. The stored diary text and target-name fields are not copied directly to the public page, but personal details you included in the work or caption may be visible. Check the image and text before sharing. Disabling a link does not remove images already saved or posted elsewhere.
Sharing of curse senryu
Curse verses are saved privately when created. A verse appears in the public feed only if you choose to publish it. Only its three lines, resentment level, number of likes, and your ranking nickname (if set) appear there. The stored diary text, target-name field, and account details are not published directly. The generated verse may reflect what you wrote, so review it before publishing. You can change a verse’s visibility from your verse book. Other users can report public verses; those receiving enough reports are automatically hidden. You can also stop seeing verses from a particular user.
Purpose of Use
We use the information we collect for user authentication, providing the service (saving and displaying diary entries and managing credits), preventing fraudulent use, and improving the service. We never provide the content of your diary to third parties for purposes such as advertising.
External Services
We use Supabase for authentication and data storage, Google and Apple as authentication providers, the App Store and payment providers for billing, and Slack for notifications to the operator. The AI verse feature sends up to the first 1,200 characters of diary text to OpenAI APIs. The AI image feature sends up to the first 800 characters to OpenAI APIs to derive an art motif; an optional caption (up to 80 characters) is also sent to its moderation API. The derived motif and image prompt are processed by its image API. Information you wrote in the diary text is included in what is sent. Each provider’s terms and privacy policy apply.
Requesting Deletion
If you wish to have your account and diary data deleted, please contact us. When your account is deleted, the associated diary and credit information is deleted as well.
Operator and Contact
The operator of the Service (the entity that manages personal information) is SURISUTA, K.K. (Representative: Katsuki Mitsumori). For inquiries or requests regarding the handling of personal information, please contact k-mitsumori@surisuta.jp.
