Just before the summit the rock always rolls back down, and he trudges to the foot to push it up all over again—for eternity. He haunts tasks that never end and work that is back on your desk by the next morning, laughing weakly, 'It's all back to square one anyway.' Yet strangely, his hands never stop. Only while he's pushing does he get to not think about anything else.
