Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose of the Service)

“Yurusen” (the “Service”) is entertainment intended to provide psychological release (catharsis) by letting you privately write out your feelings and stress toward those you cannot forgive, framed as “recording in a ledger of judgment” and “passing judgment.” The Service has no supernatural or occult effect whatsoever, and none is guaranteed.

Article 2 (Prohibited Conduct)

You must not engage in any of the following:

• Use for the purpose of real-world threats, notice of harm, harassment, or defamation against actual individuals or organizations, or any other unlawful act
• Using the Service to identify or attack a real person
• Acts that infringe the rights of third parties, or that violate laws or public order and morals
• Acts that interfere with the operation of the Service, unauthorized access, or fraudulent acquisition of credits

The person and original offense text in your ledger are private. You may choose to share or publish judgment cards and verses. If use falling under the above is discovered, we may take measures such as suspending your use of the Service.

Article 3 (Credits and Billing)

• The Service uses “Yurusen Points (credits).” A set number are granted free of charge each day, and you may purchase additional credits for a fee.
• Purchased credits and unlocked features are digital content and, except where required by law, cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash after purchase.
• Credits have no expiration date and no obligation to be refunded.
• In-app purchases on the iOS app are also subject to the App Store's terms, and purchases on the web version to the terms of the payment processor.
• Yurusen Points (credits) constitute a prepaid payment instrument under Japan's Payment Services Act; in accordance with that Act, we disclose the issuer, how to check the unused balance, refund availability, and related matters in our Legal Notice (Specified Commercial Transactions Act).

Article 4 (Age)

The Service contains dark themes. Persons under 16 may not use it. Minors should use the Service with the consent of a parent or guardian.

Article 5 (Disclaimer)

Except in cases of our willful misconduct or gross negligence, we are not liable for any damages arising from use of the Service. The Service is provided on an “as is” basis.
